Welcome to Eagle Class!
Our Topic: The Tudors (Term 5)
Our topic this term is ‘The Tudors’, where we will be exploring the changing of the monarchy in particular. Within this topic we will be looking at life in Tudor times, key events that happened during this period and before then focussing on a case study of Henry VIII. In English this term, we will be reading Stormbreaker written by Anthony Horowitz. We will be basing our writing around these texts. Reading
In Year 6, you will continue to choose your own books to read from the book corner, the school's library or a book of your own. You should be reading 5 times a week and this should also include reading with an adult, where they can extend your understanding by asking questions about the text.
Homework
You will be set weekly homework on a Friday. Homework books are due back the following Thursday. This includes maths, reading, timetables and spelling.
