Friday 6 February 2026 Year 2 Class Assembly Feb 26 Year 2 delivered a thoughtful and engaging class assembly centered on the Gospel values of loyalty and faithfulness, inspired by their class book “Tad” by Benji Davies. Through the story of Tad's unwavering loyalty to his friend, the children explored what it means to stand by others, even when it is difficult. The assembly encouraged everyone to reflect on how we can show faithfulness in our friendships, families, and school community, and the children presented their learning with confidence, warmth, and pride.

Friday 9 January 2026 Rosie Galligan We were delighted to welcome back former pupil Rosie Galligan to our school this week. Rosie is a key member of the Red Roses, England's national women's rugby team, and has represented her country on the world stage, including at the 2022 Women's Rugby World Cup and the 2025 World Cup, where England were crowned Champions. During her visit, Rosie delivered an inspiring whole-school assembly, giving pupils the opportunity to ask questions and learn about her journey from school sport to elite international professional rugby. She also visited each class, engaging with pupils individually and sharing powerful messages about hard work, resilience, teamwork, and self-belief. It was a truly memorable and motivating visit for our school community, and we look forward to welcoming Rosie back later this year to coach pupils and further develop their practical rugby skills.
